Bayern failing at search for coachHainer questioned about Tuchel U-turnBayern chief says manager will not stay(C)Getty ImagesWHAT HAPPENED?
Earlier this year, Bayern Munich announced that they would be parting ways with Tuchel after just over a year in charge of the club. Since then, the Bavarians have been linked with the likes of Xabi Alonso, Ralf Rangnick and Julian Nagelsmann with none of the links progressing anywhere. With their search for a coach yielding little progress, there is a possibility of Tuchel making a U-turn, however, Hainer is certain that the agreement to terminate Tuchel's contract this summer will not be reversed.

When asked about making a U-turn on Tuchel's exit, Hainer said [via Sky Sports Germany]: "The agreement is in place. I am convinced that we will present a good coach. Now we're waiting to see what happens."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
This season, Bayern Munich failed to win the Bundesliga title for the first time since 2013 as Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen took the footballing world by storm and confirmed their title with five games in hand, having not lost a single game all season long in any competition.
WHAT NEXT FOR BAYERN?
As the season slowly draws to a close, Bayern Munich are still alive in the Champions League and they will take on Real Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final clash on Wednesday, May 8. Meanwhile, they will also continue the hunt for a new manager to take over from Tuchel.
