Leeds United’s poor run of form in 2020 continues on Saturday afternoon as they slumped to their fourth defeat in five at the City Ground.
The Whites were well beaten by Nottingham Forest as Marcelo Bielsa’s side were unable to record more than one attempt on target all game.
Sammy Ameobi opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark before substitute Tyler Walker wrapped things up with a simple tap-in with just seconds remaining on the clock.
Following the match, The Athletic’s Phil Hay relayed comments from the Leeds boss on Twitter, which has got many fans talking.
Here’s what they have been saying…
Clearly, the Argentine’s comments are getting tiring in the minds of some as they have heard it all before while another blasted his lack of leadership and “weak” mentality.
It has led to fans calling for him to leave the club…
One supporter went as far as saying that his stubbornness cost the side last season and would be the root cause of their failure to gain promotion this campaign.
Bielsa was branded as “predictable” too.
Another member of the Elland Road faithful mooted a potential replacement in former Brighton boss Chris Hughton…
However, not everyone saw the blame lying solely at Bielsa’s feet, or in some cases at all…
Victor Orta and the players out on the pitch were a recurring choice – “disgraceful” was one word used to sum it all up.
Virtually impossible: Can you name the year all of these Leeds flops arrived at Elland Road?
